About the Doctoral Consortium
We are going to have a terrific Doctoral Consortium this year, and we encourage all doctoral students to register!
The consortium is co-chaired by Prof. Kelly Goldsmith at the Kellogg School of Management and Prof. Cassie Mogilner at UCLA. The consortium will
run from 9am to 6pm on Thursday, February 16th at the SCP Conference location. The schedule is jam-packed with panels of inspiring scholars who
will provide advice for how to succeed in your PhD program, and of top journal Editors who will offer guidance for how to successfully publish.
There will also be opportunities to break into smaller groups with faculty both at an off-site lunch and during two roundtable sessions to give
students a chance to get feedback on their research ideas and to connect with leaders in the field.
The registration cap is set at 85 students, so be sure to register as soon as you decide to attend! Only current PhD students should register for
the Doctoral Consortium.

session symposia, and skill building sessions. Diverse themes and methodological approaches are welcome. We especially welcome submissions pertaining to: healthy behaviors or consumer
welfare and well-being more generally; impact of new media and technology on consumers; consumer-generated marketing (e.g., online reviews, word of mouth); and consumer morality, including
environmental and socially responsible behaviors. All proposals will be judged on the quality of the research, the contribution to the field of consumer psychology, and the interest of
the topic to Division 23 members. One paper will be recognized as the Best Paper in Division.
